Where the data is
Data is kept on servers in Helsinki, Finland, in the EU. Card payments are handled by Stripe and Followbooth does not see card numbers.
What is sent where
Business-card photos and voice notes are sent to your organization's Followbooth account over an encrypted connection. The card text is recognised on our server. AI services read business cards and voice notes. The providers are listed on the page Who processes your data, which is linked at the foot of the terms page.
Who owns the leads
The leads, notes, files and messages you collect belong to you. For the people you collect them from, your company is the controller and Followbooth processes the data on your behalf. The Team Annual plan includes a data processing agreement. It is available on request for other plans.
Consent
Each lead records how the visitor agreed: in person at the stand or through the QR form. Use Followbooth only to contact people who agreed to hear from you, and send only what they asked for.
Your data
You can export your data to CSV and delete it. You can delete your account at any time.
Apps and cookies
The iPhone app has no tracking, no ads and no analytics SDK. The cabinet uses a cookie to keep you signed in and no advertising cookies.
