Payment, invoices and refunds

Payment

Payments are handled by Stripe. Followbooth does not see or keep card numbers. An annual subscription renews itself until you cancel it in the billing portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal and not the current period.

If a payment fails, the account keeps working for a grace period and is then set to read-only until the payment is made.

Company details and invoices

Administrators can enter the company name, address, registration number, VAT number, a contact person and billing emails. The invoice then shows them.

The invoices page lists your invoices and credit notes. You can download a PDF, open an invoice online or send it again. Invoice emails go to the billing emails.

Refunds

These facts come from the refund policy that is published in the app. Read the policy itself for the full text.

• Event Pass: you may ask for a full refund within 14 days of the purchase, if the event has not started yet. Write to the operator with the name of your organization and the event.
• After the event has started, or after 14 days, an Event Pass is not refunded.
• An annual subscription is not refunded once it has started, except where the law requires it. You can cancel it in the billing portal, and it then ends at the end of the paid year.
• A refund goes back to the card that paid, through Stripe, and can take several days to show.
• When a refund is made, the plan it paid for ends. The account returns to the Free limits, and your data is kept.

After a paid plan ends

Your data stays readable and exportable for 90 days and is then removed according to the retention rules.
