Importing many business card photos at once

How it works

In the cabinet open Leads and choose Import cards.

1. Pick the event, or create one on the spot. You can set a language hint and how the two sides of a card are paired.
2. Drop the photos. JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC work, and so does a ZIP file of photos.
3. The page shows about how many recognitions the batch needs. Before you start it shows how many cards will be processed, and warns when your plan or the daily limit cuts the batch.
4. Press Start. Each card shows its progress.
5. Review the table. Rows with a low confidence and duplicates come first. You can edit fields, zoom into the photo, delete or skip cards, and move them to another event.
6. Press Add leads. Nothing is a lead before this step.

After the import

You can run company research and grading, and you can send materials. Sending is off by default. To send, you confirm that these people gave you their card in person or agreed to be contacted.

You can undo the whole batch. The leads it created are deleted with their photos. Leads it was merged into stay.

Photos and privacy

Each photo is turned into a clean JPEG. All metadata, including GPS, is removed. A batch that you never add is purged after 14 days.

A contact QR code printed on a card is read first. It costs no recognition.
