Working without a network
What the iPhone app does with no signal, what still needs a connection and what happens when you sign out.
Updated
In the iPhone app
Followbooth keeps every lead, photo and voice note on the phone and sends them as soon as a connection is back. A bar at the top always says what is on the phone and what has already reached the server.
The first sign-in needs a network. After that the app also works without one.
The phone reads the card on the device, so the form opens even with no signal. The server completes the details when the connection returns.
What needs a connection
- The first sign-in.
- Sending the brochure. It goes out once the lead reaches the server.
- The company brief and the grade, which are made on the server.
- Reading a card in the browser. In the browser the photo goes to the server for recognition.
If you sign out
Leads that are not sent yet stay on the phone. They go out after you sign in to the same account.
Browser
In a browser, a lead is first saved in the storage of the browser and then sent. Do not clear the data of the site before the leads are sent.
Limits to know
Followbooth does not promise that no lead can ever be lost. Keep the app open and the phone charged until the bar shows that everything has reached the server. The Android app is not available yet.
Questions
Questions
Is there an Android app?
Not yet. It is coming to Google Play. Until then Followbooth works in the browser on an Android phone, and reading a card needs a connection.
